A heavy die scratch runs southeast from the mintmark. Numerous small E-W die scratches show on the left sides of the I and N of IN.
Reverse
A short, heavy die scratch runs southeast from the M of UNUM. Numerous lighter scratches between UNUM and the right wheat tip. Many N-S die scratches through STATES and AMERICA. Reverse is MDS.
