A die gouge shows, in the field to the southwest of the I in IN. A series of small die gouges under the 2nd 9 of the date.
Reverse
A die dent or bump shows in the first memorial bay. Short, parallel die scratches on the lower right memorial base above the T in CENT. Reverse is LDS.

Obverse
EDS markers remain, but weaker; gouges between G and O of GOD; a BIE type die crack is forming between the B and E of LIBERTY. Obverse is EMDS/MDS
Reverse
LDS markers remain: die dent in bay 1 and parallel die gouges under lower left staircase. Reverse is LDS/VLDS
