1942D-1DO-001 | CLASS 2 + 5
CONECA: DDO-002 Crawford: CDDO-001
Wexler: WDDO-002 FS#: unlisted A nice spread shows on the outer edges of the date - tripling shows inside the diagonal of the 4. A nicely spread clockwise pivot (from K-3) shows in LIBERTY. The tripling in the date and the unrelated doubling in LIBERTY technically makes this die a quadrupled die. This die is coupled with 1942D-1MM-012.

1942D-1DO-003 | CLASS 5
CONECA: unknown Crawford: unknown
Wexler: unknown FS#: unknown Light class V pivoted spread from around 3 o'clock shows in IBERT of LIBERTY and slightly on I of IN. Doubling is similar to, but milder than, what is seen on 1DO-001; the MM is in a similar location but there is no evidence of doubling in the date. An earlier die state may show more doubling.
