I just saw in Coin World (Sept 25th issue) where there is a new DDR discovery in the State Quarters - The Mint Set version of the Oregon 25c from Philly. I bought a few SMS rolls on eBay a while back and decided to search them. I found 2. Here are the photos of one of them (still in the Mylar)...
It appears to be a pretty nice DDR -- easily visible with a 10x loop. So Minnesota DDR is not the only kid on the block anymore. It is time to search your mint sets (again).

Very cool Ken. I was just saying in the other thread that I will be searching the Statehood Quarters I have here for possible other errors. I did find that I had a 2005P Minnesota DDO (a doubled ear lobe) only to find out that it had already been reported and verified by Wexler. Congrats on your finds!

I bought a 2005 P Oregon Satin Finish DDR #2 quarter a while back. It has been selling for much less than the Oregon Die #1 -- yet there may actually be more doubling on this second one than on the first. At worst, they are about equal. And unlike the MN DDRs - there is doubling in more than just the center of the coin and there does not appear to be 100 different versions to choose from. I heard that The Cherrypickers' Guide has already assigned an FS number to the Oregon DDR #1. Surely, they will with the DDR #2 as well. I did some side-by-sides of the DDR #2...

Ken, allow me to say that those are the nicest photos I've seen of these particular anomilies. I thought I had some, and you just verified it! Mine are not proof, so they do not show that clearly, but Your photos sure did!. WOW! Dick
