Steven, I have several applications. One for each camera, and in some of them I can crop, and size the way I want, but in others I mess up the phot to the point, that it has to be replaced, to be able to use! I saw the photos you "worked over", and that is essentially what I want, but.....

Dick,
Probably best to use one program such as photo shop for all photos. That way you get used to what you need to do rather than trying to remember all the different ones. Do you have adobe photo shop. That is the one I have been using. If so or not any program you use right click on the photo and open into one of the programs. Then go to OPEN WITH and select a photo program. When it opens go to the top and click on image. It should have applications for sizing and rotate canvas. Using these you can adjust your photos to the size and rotation that you want it viewed. Then we can go from there with any other questions. If the size doesn't readjust properly you may want to check or uncheck the contraint proportion block in the sizing.

Steven, You just gave me an idea: I am going to go thru each one of them, and the one that gives me the rerults I want, with the minimun of "fiddling", I'll keep, and uninstall the others! I know what I want to do, I just don't know how to go about getting it done, but I am sure with your help, I'll have it in no time!. I think I'll apply some of the advice provided by many people: "KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID"!

Coop, I keep this post handy on the other XP unit, so I can refer to it as I go "messing around".

Houston, I have a ......No, Coop, I have a problem! How can I search for a particular topic, or thread? For example, I want to recall the thread that Eagames posted about the 1982 LG/SM Date, so as to get a print screen shot. I know the difference, I have rolls of them, but I wanted to find a particular method of recalling topics. Also, why can't I see more that one page, at present? Before, I could go to previous, or to next. Now there "ain't no such animal"!

Dick,
Best I ca say is go to the top of the page click on search then at the bottom of that page type in the key words and/or author.

Steven hit it Dick. But keep your search as simple as possible that way you don't have to read the whole forum to find what your looking for. If you type in "The coin that Ed posted of the 1982. Then every post showing each word of that search would come up. that would take a couple of months to read all that. If you type Ed, if would bring up every post that Ed has made and each time someone addressed Ed in a post. Again a few weeks worth of reading. Probably the best choice would be 1982 and see what comes up. The simpler the search, the less that pops up to re-read to find that post. And possibly that is the name of the thread and you will find it even faster. One word/date works best. More, you end up reading the whole forum. The search button is the one on the toolbar above and I usually use the second line from the bottom on the right. See if this helps Dick.

I tend to jump off the deep end, then wonder why I didn't just use the steps! I noticed the area mentioned, after I asked a dumb question. This may help someone else that looked at it, but didn't see it, like me. Don't feel bad if one makes boo-boo's, it is a part of learning, just lke asking dumb questions, except, there are NO dumb questions, just people that didn't ask.
