Ive seen a lot of the book, and apparently its very good. It uses a CRPM listing and it has cross references to wexler and coneca. I have thought of purchasing it, but never did.

It might be a decent book, but the price is too hefty. In addition, there's no chance that it's a complete reference, which makes it no better than any of the other references out there. There's also very little chance that it has anything more to offer than this site does for free. I find it amazing that people are willing to spend so much money on a book they KNOW can't be complete. I can't think of anything else that people would spend so much money on knowing it cannot be a complete reference. Boggles my mind.
This is the reason it is taking so long to get my book off the ground - because when it's finished, it WILL be 100% complete, nothing omitted. It will be over 2,500 pages and the cost of purchasing it will be spread out over a three year period of time, if not more than that. It will come as a subscription like to a magazine, and will be something the collector can build in a binder - a true comprehensive reference. I suggest waiting for it and save the money now for coins.

Wow, now thats a reference book(s). When do you predict the grand unvieling? Will it be like 10 books divided by decades?

Actually what this book will be is simply pages backed with cardboard wrapped in plastic, and stuck in a brown envelope for shipping around 100 pages per shipment at a subscription price to the individual collectors. The pages will be in chronological order within each packet, but each packet will not contain "certain" dates. Something like when you buy a pack of baseball cards, it takes a number of packages to make a set, and you still have to put them in order. It will take all the different packets to make the complete book, and back issues willbe available to collectors who dont make it into the grand unveiling, some time next summer if all goes well. It has already been pushed back three years, and I am hoping not to have to push it back again...things have been simply too busy the past few years to make much headway on it.
One thing that will be available and encouraged is for people to advertise in this book. I will be selling ads from business card size for $10 all the way to full 8.5x11 size for $100 per placement, with discounts on multiple placements. This gives anyone the opportunity to advertise permanently in a book that people will be keeping for the long haul...unlike a magazine advertisement that is likely to be seen once then thrown away, and costs $100-$3000. It's inexpensive and very good exposure for anyone collecting or selling Lincolns, die varieties, errors, or just coins in general.
I do intend on writing up something much longer and in much more detail regarding the book, and publishing that writing somewhere on the site. The information and exactly how the whole thing will be structured isn't complete yet.
