Page 62 of the Dec 1 Coin World has an article by Potter, along with pics.
Interestingly, he says many of the big varieties (WRPM-018, WRPM-023 and WDMM-001) were all discovered in the 1990s!

He also said the Type II reverses of the 1998 and 2000 cents weren't anything special. Guess who's the biggest seller of them now...

correct on both counts.
I still don't think the type II cents will have much long term market, but I could be wrong. I have never owned one, I live in the wrong part of the country to find them.
