I found some cents lately that I wanted to add to my ugly cent collection - Photo Fidos? I've been experimenting lately with lighting. So I got the camera out this morning and started clicking away. Here's what I wound up with:
Pretty petina, love the colors! ...but nothing else, lol.
This one has rim damage as if someone ran a file at an angle across its rim.
This is the WORST looking NEW penny I ever saw! You can see the grimace in his eye.
Worst Blistered Lincoln I ever saw.
Look at the W in WE. It's up kinda high.
Lincoln has part of his ear dangling, lol!
My best Jailhouse Lincoln Obverse:

The first few orphans looked BU to me. (Butt ugly) You know what I'm talking about. Its like having to give your mother-in-law a kiss and she keeps trying to slip you the tongue. SET EYES TO STUN!

But I loved the die clash jail house Cent. Someday hope to find one as nice as yours. I find the scattered die clashes all the time, just not the jail house obverse. But I keep looking.......

Those are beauties, Murph! The grimace on the "007" was due to his having seen one of the new "game tokens"!
The 1944, with the "high "W", maybe the Operator was a bit "high", that day! Looks like we all have quite a collection of "ugly coins". I have at least two rolls in sight.

Gary, I thought I would let you know, I received your letter tonight, and was very pleasantly surprised to be able to read the letter, without having to put it under a glass! Thank you very much for your consideration.
I would like to offer a suggestion that will save possible scratches on a, or some coins. Find a big pair of elecrticians side cutter pliars, about 8" will be fine, if you have big hands, or 6", if "normal" or small. Use them to flatten the single staple on the bottom of the flip, rather than three, as I have done in the past. I find many of the "celaphane, plastic, or "whatever" it is, damaged by the staples scraping them, and maybe scratching the coin.
Now for ths Third" coin. I found a WS with 6, 7, and 8 showing s directed deviations, and a very nice die crack on col 1. This one will join my other "cracks"! I don't try to identify wavy-steps, becaiuse I'm not sure if it is an affect of my MD, or on the coin. No doubt about cracks, and breaks.
Thank you, again for the nice sized print! I enjoyed reading it.
Dick

Gary, you might try this. Edit it, and just wipe it clean. I had the same ting happen, (two of the same). I tried to delete, but no luck, so then I tried the editing, and erased it.

Got it on an email message. Hind of scarry. Looks like a friend of ours. I thought i would use that image for "Employee of the month" for where I work. Even had a catchy name for her and a funny story to go along with it. But no one would get it here. Its hard to get out of the hamster wheel (Work) even at home.

With the remodel of the hose the honey do list is distacted right now. Just trying to help cleaning up the messes left over. Getting there though.
