1st pic from new microscope. Need to work on focus though. This is a 2005 with double knee unidentified.
Will post another pic when I get the focus better, but just wanted to see if I could upload pic to forum correctly.

Aaron it looks great to me. You might want to invest in a tripod. That's what I use to steady my camera. Then I set camera timer and step back so it counts down and takes the shot itself and I'm not jiggling anything to cause a fuzzy photo.

I'm not sure if you were addressing me (Rock) but I do have a table tripod and after I posted the 1st picture I thought to use it. I set it on a couple of anco tube boxes to give me the right height. I also pulled the camera back a little so that there is a gap between the camera lense and the eye piece. Finally, I zoomed in to the subject. It seems to work just fine.

Hey Rock,
Some of the folks use short pieces of pvc pipe to mount the camera. It will only work if your camera has a round lense sticking out, if it does, find a piece of pvc that goes around the lens and a piece that goes around the tube on the scope and find pieces that fits over both and joins them together. PVC is cheap and you can cut it and glue it easily.
The timer is a good idea too

Maybe I should say that to David! Hope you are ready for a "Second Honeymoon"!
Sorry Aaron! Enjoy the "honey-moon, even if I tried to send David along, If one is going to screw-up, best do it big time!

Aaron is the honeymooner
This reminds me of something at work. One guys wife had a baby and the admin congradulated a different guy who looked really surprised to get congradulated (he didn't even have a girlfriend). We all laughed but she still didn't get it and I joked you better not tell the right guy about it, he might get mad at his wife if he knew that younger guy was the father

Rock: Looks pretty good for the first images. When taking images to avoid the blur that you may see on your images, thry this: Focus on the field and not the upper part of the date/mintmark/devices you want to photo. I like to even focus on the field inside the mintmark/date. That gives a clearer image. I'll wait for a few images before a I make another suggestion. But looks like your on the right track. after you take 100 images, then go back to your first ones and see the improvment on your images.

Rock, in keeping with Murph's thought, above, you may have a program that lets you take "snapshots "with the mouse. It works great, it you do. It should come with the software for the camera.
