so i found this today while going through a few rolls, it may be wishful thinking but i really think im onto something..the pics arent the greatest but i think if you look close you will see what im seeing. The pics have been sharpened a little bit to try and clean them up.
first pic is the date right side up..note the notching in the 5, there is also a hint of doubling in the rest of the date i just cant get the pics i want..
this second pic is upside down...at first i thought it may have been a lighting issue but the notching is still present with the lighting coming from a different angle...
This third pic shows TRUST, what i see is a doubled S that is most prominent but it appears that the rest of the word is doubled as well

I see what your talking about but I would say machine doubling.... I could be wrong as Iusually am. But that is my cent worth.

Aaron,
This particular doubling (on the 5 of the date) is master die doubling and has been brought up before. Chuck addresses this in his book(s). As far as the TRUST doubling, I can't quite make it out with the pictures you provided.

The doubling he's seeing in TRUST is typical eject doubling often seen on cents dated 1965-1968. This was one of the reasons for the change to a new lower relief obverse in 1969.
