Also if pcgs gets enough registry set owners to request a attributed variety be included in the with varieties set they poll the members.
Another thing I find interesting is the fact they attribute the 1995 D fs-041 but do not include it in their population report. And then many of the varieties they count in the population report are not in their daily price guide. It makes it hard to go after variety you know little about.
Also there was a 1955 proof ddr on e-bay that ended today. I couldnt find any info on it. Has anyone seen it? Joe

You're digging in my notes, aren't you?? LOL!! This is actually one of the parts of additional functionality for the site that I intend on implementing for version 3 of coppercoins due for release sometime this summer.

Sounds like this registry set list is still a work in progress!

Oreville,
You are certainly correct that it is a work in progress. In the Memorial Set, over the course of the last year or so PCGS has added the 60-D, 69-S, 70-S and 71 DDOs. They have also begun attribution of the 98, 99, and 2000 "wide AM" reverse varieties but do not (yet) include them in the variety registry. On the other hand, they still do not recongize the seven varieties of the 1982 cent.
I've seen some unexpected resistance over the 1982 varieties, but expect that they will someday begin to recognize them and later include them in the registry. I would hope that this would open the door to recognition of the 1974 LD and SD varieties as well, but maybe I'm being optimistic.
With a bit of effort it shouldn't be a stretch to think that in the following months to years official PCGS numbers and/or inclusion in the registry will be awarded to:
All seven 1982 varieties.
1992-D Close AM.
1994 DDR.
1995-D DDO.
1998 Wide AM.
1999 Wide AM.
2000 Wide AM.
If I ever get ANY free time I'm planning on working to help make this happen.
Roger
