I love the photos you guys show and would like to have my own microphotography setup. What do you think of this?http://www.photosolve.com/main/product/xtendascope/37M/index.html I have a stereoscope with a 4x zoom. The 10x eyepiece would give me 40x magnification. And was thinking of getting a fiberoptic light source with a ring light. Any suggestions? Joe

Hi Joe..
Two things...
1. Although an adaptor might be nice, I wouldn't be able to work with it because putting it on and taking it off constantly would be a hassle. I simply take my shots through the normal eyepiece and it works fine.
2. Don't buy a ring adaptor for the light. Everyone I know who did buy it has nothing but problems with it. I use a dual fiber optic gooseneck adaptor and am glad that's what I got up front.

If you want to see tons of photo equipment, try the www.bhphotovideo.com web site. They'll send you a catalog that is thousands of pages long. It's the largest supplier of photo equipment I've ever found. However, I just use the macro feature on my camera and it's all I could ever want.
