Proof INdians

I'm being made an offer to buy some proof Indians, and I plan to possibly flip some of them for a profit. The dates are:
1875 ANACS PR61RB
1895 ANACS PR63RB-> nicely toned.
1898 NGC PF63RB
1906 PCGS PF64RB
1909 PCGS PF64RB

He will sell them to me for $325 each, but I'm sure that I can get him to lower the prices a bit if I buy more than one. How is the market for these, and does anyone have a good idea of how much these usually sell for?

Gabe,, check Rick Snow's website. He has the largest selection of proof indian cents I know of. www.indiancent.com $325 is not out of range for those dates and grades. His selection is kind of short and high end right now but he has a couple "common date" 64RB coins in the $400-$450 range and an 1875 64RB that is $750. Rick's coins are usually high end for their grade and he gets a little premium for them.

Im sure Im preaching to the choir here, but Proof Indians are difficult to assess sight unseen. If the mirrors not there or are affected by haze or pitting or other problems the prices could plummet. On the other hand, cameo surfaces, vivid colors, and other eye appealing factors could drive a price way up there. Even Rick Snow's photos are difficult to conclude on.

You have a 1875 proof 61 on your list. I wonder what the problem is with that one. Rick's description of his 1875 proof states that attractive 1875 proofs are hard to come by. So that should alert you to something.

If any of these coins have carbon spots, forget about them...simply put. Early proofs with unremovable spots are difficult to sell, and a number of lower grade proofs have the spots.

Chuck, I've seen the coins personally and they dont have carbon spots. I always try to stay away from them, since I dont like the carbon spots myself.
