Thanks Steven. It's nice to hear from a friendly, familiar, fellow Lincoln collector.

Always nice to see and new one and look forward to his questions. So welcome from all of us.

I was thinking about your choice of name: Car10
I've heard of that somewhere or something like it?

Thank you for all of the welcomes. As for my choice of names, it's nothing too imaginative. I was born with the last name Carten. It is misspelled so often I figured it would be easier to simplify it a little. You may have seen my name most recently in the October 22nd issue of Coin World's Collector's Clearinghouse as the discoverer a newly listed variety. It is a 1989 Lincoln Cent with a RDV-005(reverse design of 1986-1988). It unfortunately appears that the reported new variety may soon be de-listed though. Embarassed We are waiting for Dr. James Wiles to examine some possible confirmation pieces and report on his findings. Watch varietyvista.com for developments. Thanks again for the warm welcomes.

car10, welcome to my world! 'Tis funny, that you would mention cointalk.org. I just received a happy birthdyt greeting from dave. It has been a loooong time since I have posted there. Looks like we all have found our home of homes. Many of us post on many forums, and no doubt many of us know each other from another forum. So be it. All are welcome here, and we look forward to your posts My avatar will identify me from coinTalk.org., among others.
Dick
