This looks as if it may be an RPM south with a secondary upper curve showing inside the primary MM. BUT I don't know for sure any guesses????

Looks like it is at the same angle as die flow. I'm glad I don't have to call it on that one. Lets see what Bob says.

Without having the coin in hand, my first guess would be an RPM. As a matter of fact, it has almost all of the same attributes as RPM-006 for the date as seen in the RPM book with the exception that this secondary line is a bit lower. As Coop correctly states, the die flow lines are important, but in this case, the die flow lines are minor compared to the strength of the line in question. It is possible that it could also be a die gouge of some sort. There is precedent in the 1980's of these types of RPMs. 1987D RPM-002, and 004 are others that look almost exact to this one.
I would have to see the coin in hand to make a final determination, but I am leaning toward an RPM.
