Only problem, Bob, is that the way you would want to go through them your great-grandchildren would be 75 years old before completing the task.

As for me...there's the whole cent project in one place! Imagine the 1995 doubled dies in that pile!

One thing it may do is loosen up some of the 60 thru 80s that have been stashed away for a long time.

Of course, there is going to be a lot of damaged coins in that bunch also. How do you think they will pick them all up? Backhoe? Shovels? Streetcleaners? And then the coin counters!!!!

Now, what are the odds of there being a 1969S doubled die obverse being in that batch; or even the 1955 doubled die obverse!!!!!

Chuck, there is your project, Times two! Now for the volunteers. therein lies the problem, where the coins are already "piled up, it is a case of how many will be "lost thru damage, pilfering, and some one not having covered the storm drains? Only other problem that I can see, is they are only from one state, or area, and as such, not worth a hoot for the peoject! Best try elsewhere. BTW, Chuck, I'll bet yoou won't have to contend with the "Ice Age" every year, once the move is completed.
In answer to your question, BJ, I'll betr they use a vacuum cleaner.

Has anyone looked at this scenario:?
Hillary wins, and is r-elected for a second term. That means that the White House, AND this country will have been in the hands of TWO families: BUSH, and Clinton, for 32 years! MY thoughts?
BJ said it very eloquently:
"Now that literally sucks"!
Hopefully, we will find the lessor of two evils, will be to continue with the status quo. Better a bad apple, than to find out the other one is much worse!
Carter didn't dare make waves, his brother was a representative of a foreigh government, Libia.
Clinton didn't dare make waves. He knew you can't "balance the books", and fight a war, at the same time.
Bush: The "lessor of two evils"! What if Gore had gotten in? I hate to think of what we would doing at this time. 9-11 came. It was inevitable, and the bandy-legged "Rancher" with his eyes too close together, did the only thing that was available. The info may not have been entirely correct, but it was the only info available at the time. He did what he had to do. Give the man credit for looking our for the country, not his "financial situation". One can't blame the Latino Invasion on him, because "AMNISTY" was grantred before he took office. Want to get some reaction from "South of the border, in controlling the surge thru His country? Close the entire border for 90 days. President Calderon will be putting his army on the Southern border, to stop the flow! Then we can begin to Negociate! More amnisty? Not no, but HELL NO!
