I'm definitly still a rookie when it comes to this type of doubling. I found this on a 1945 P cent -- and didn't see any doubled eyelids listed on this site for 1945 P. So it makes me think it is something else. What do you think?

Looks like you might have a good one there. Did you check "Value-vista, or maybe it is Variety-Vista? CONECA, for sure.

CONECA has gone away from listing these more minor die varieties.
This is a doubled die. The reason there isn't one listed for the date here is because none have been reported. I assure you there are PLENTY of doubled eyelids that have yet to be listed here.

Thanks for the replies. I'm happy to hear that this is a doubled eyelid - my first such find.
After I did this post, I did check CONECA and they do list two 1945 P doubled eyelids - but with no markers described, there is no way to know i this is one of them.
I now have 3 or 4 "finds" that are not listed here - but are probably nice enough to be. I may just have to put together my first Coppercoins submission.
And daggit... I did find this one with a loop. I found it searching my dasco album - which won't fit under a microscope.
