I can't pick my monitor up, there are too many coins in the way. I really can't tell by the lighting, it appear's that it is a bu coin.

It looks like an RPM, but I can't be sure. Maybe you can back off the pic a little bit so I can get another look?

Daggit - quit using multiple lighting sources in your images. It will take away the double shine from opposite directions that is making any possible doubling impossible to see.

The first shot is with the scope, in a hurry I may have forgotten to shut off my desk lamp don't remember now. Second shot is with the camera, no flash, desk lamp only with exception of ceiling lights that I'm not about to turn off (room mate would curse me if I did) Desk lamp might not be the appropriate lighting source, I do have a difficult time with shots of BU coins avoiding glare and at the same time being in focus. The lamp is a circular flourescent bulb, will look around for something more appropriate but I'm not attacking from all angles with a barrage of lighting sources. Being a novice I will obviously need more experience and have been taking note of suggestions from forum members. I will try again.

Sandra, The top one looks like there might be split serifs top, and bottom, but the bottom has the shadow in the area I'd lke to see.

The first one posted does look similar to the 1963D 1MM-003. Really hard to say but you may want to check the markers for that one. The second looks as if it may be post mint damage???????

I rechecked the 2nd one I posted and it does appear to be damage, Steven I checked the die markers and I think you are right about the 1MM-003.

It does look similar. The angle of the picture is hard to tell if it is the 003. A picture from the front view(top view) of the Date and MM only would help.

Using your last photo and the coppercoin photo of the 1963D-1MM-003 and layering them it does appear to be the same die. Still this should not be construde as attributing as such, only that the MM is in the appropriate location in comparison to the date of both. Hope this helps a bit.
