I found these in a box of cents yesterday. The corrosion is a bit annoying for coins that are only 10 years old, but it's not like I paid extra for these.

They look like the PRE 1992 Memorial Cents. But they are 1998-2000 P mint Cents. Not a real thing you have to study too hard. Just wish we had more of the Philly Cents here. Seems like the doubled dies from that area exceed the Denver ones we get.

I've wondered why there seems to be a higher incidence of Lincoln DDO coming from the Philly mint vs. S or D? Is it simply a matter of volume produced--and/or laxer quality control?
