Here are a couple more clipped cents. I started a different post because I didn't want to be rude and interfere too much with your post about the 65 cents. I sort of caused some off topic conversation...

Sandra, I have never seen a "clipped cent, US, or Canadian", in person. I have one that "Might be", but until I have some way to confirm, it is nothing ore than a "damaged" coin.
Going threu the Can. cents I have, it will be hard to rell if it is clipped, or not, because there are so many 12-sided coins there, (over 3000, and climbing!). Maybe I'll get lucky....

Time to slip a few of those cents into California circulation!
I have not come across a clipped cent either, even after searching through easily 100,000 cents in the past few years.

I'm surprised that I have come by this many however its the doubled dies that I want and can't find! And it's not Canadian that interests me I just came across these mainly in pocket change while looking for Lincoln's.

They are real clipped Cents. You can tell by the fading of devices near the clip. With out that it would have been made in a garage. But yours is the real deal.

I got a 2004 Canadian Cent the other day. I was surprized how size of the Queens image was smaller. Not often you seen the new ones here.

I'm not sure if they are trying to decrease her size ...age or what but less is sometimes better

Don't people usually shrink with increased age?

The size difference was so striking small compared to the coins I have had in the past. Most of the ones I have is in the 1939-1975 area. And just a few others I find in change. But I made a nice avatar if anyone is interested?

Sandra, could I ask you to do a favor? Can you show me the edge of the coin(s)? I need to see whar they look like, now that they have been "declared". That way I can compare the edge of mine, and then know what it is: Damage, or clip. Thanks. Yes, I would enjoy having a "clip". Many thanks. I don't havwe any doubles, other than MD, but maybe one will show in the boxes of "P" I am about to staRT SORTING.
Coop, will you send me your address again? I have some items for you.
Dick
