I would say there is little doubt that it is mechanical doubling. It seems there is also some present on the 19 of the date.

Thank's Bob. I looked excessive. The reason I thought so was there was no sign of the 2nd D inside the primary. Neat looking none the less.

That's eject doubling.

VERY common on silver coins with reverse mintmarks...not quite so common on Lincolns, but nonetheless no premium value.
