A little note about errors and die varieties...

I have moved a number of topics from this forum to their proper place under 'Questions about die varieties'.

Die varieties are doubled dies, repunched mintmarks, over mintmarks...

Errors are completely different from die varieties, which is why there are separate areas for each.

Errors would be broadstrikes, indents, partial collar strikes, die adjustment strikes, cracked/broken dies, stuff like that. Doubled dies and repunched mintmarks do not belong here at all.
