Hi, The first 3 pics are for you Wavy. The bottom of memorial is wavy, it thins around the planter then gets wider toward the center. Is this considered a wavy step?
Coop, Is the last picture anything special, it kinda looks like some I saw and is on the outside of device. Then ONE looks funky also?
Thanks Guys,
Teryble

I've seen that several times. I think it is a striking/movement issue. I've found one with a very strong strike that was a 1989-D Cent that all the letters were full + the marking that you have on your coins toward the rim. Cause, I don't think it has been resolved yet. The markings toward the rim also remind me of heavy die flow that makes lines on the outside edges of the devices and flow that direction. But either way the coin is worth melt/or what if says on the reverse.
BJ is the expert on the wavy steps. I found one after looking for months. They are another item that require the eye to be trained to spot. Although mine was too minor to list, at least you can get an idea what they look like. The wavy portion is under the 4-9 columns on some coins, on others as well on different ones. but usuall form under the left edge of the column on the first few steps. Some may affect others lower, but the most are the upper ones.
