found in a roll and its as smooth as silk even though it looks rough as hell, i think its a '73 but cant be positive...thought and opinions welcomed

looks corroded and cleaned up.

The copper cents survive being burried and dug out after many years with some corrosion but the zinc ones turn into dust.

Good idea Ed. I knew it wasn't acid as the rims are the first thing to disappear on them and this one has the full rim. So I was at odds to think of anything else. If it is a 1973 then it should have the large FG on the reverse initials.
