These are nothing significant...but this past weekend I ended up with 10 2008 Lincoln Cents in my pocket change. Just got around to looking at them this afternoon and found that 1 of the P coins and 4 of the D coins have a minor die crack that runs from Lincoln's hair line down across his forehead into his right eyebrow. Like I said, nothing significant just thought it was strange to end up with the same circumstance on so many out of so few coins.

Tells me they are continuing to fall down on the job of die making. The dies are probably so poorly made now, die cracks are going to become even more common.

The die cracks you mention Bob are numerous on a lot of the Lincoln cents especially from 2004-present. I don't know why either, but there is some heavy duty head cracking going on. Just about every variety I documented for 2006 seemed to have a die crack on the head.
