I cannot find any pics about these. The book states only 1 known DDR for this year and no Obverse. There does seem to me to be notching on serifs? No so much on Obverse date and liberty , but most everything else, especially Reverse. Maxi strikes again??

Hey Coop & Chuck if your listening (you suggested a mintmark book), I think I found my "forte'"...
Has anyone ever done a book on Machine Doubling? Want to collborate Coop, seems like I have knack for finding them.
Even though Maxi struck, you must admit it is pretty impressive!? Or is this a pretty common occurence? Are mores years more common than others? The book doesn't have much input for this year. Obviously because there wasn't much going on with these coins.
Teryble aka Maxi

Teryble, I have to concur with Coop. I was surprised to find the date in the '90's. That kind of crack on the cornice, was more common in the mid '80's. Nice set of photos.

not to take the wind out of your sails Teryble and i dont want to discourage you from doing it but i have seen some form of mechanical doubling on just about every year lincoln cent i have looked at. It is actually (from my experience) quite common on newer cents, i have about 30 that i have saved just because they look cool, and thats just the tip of the iceberg. Its quite common on " E PLURIBUS UNUM" and even the date on newer cents. I see alot of mechanical doubling on 1999-D cents, and i have even found a die crack similar to yours on a 2008 cent as well. I would TOTALLY keep that 1993 that you have because its one of the strongest that i have personally seen and i love it.

Hey Teryble,
Nice pics.
Machine doubling is very deceiving sometimes. It can and does fool many of us many times.
Take a look at a few of these doubled dies on circulated worn coins. When you look at one of these through a glass you can actually hear the WHOOOAA coming out of your mouth as soon as your brain gets the image.
Then my favorite DDO can't be missed by anyone.....
