Very nice Carol. You just have to have the right coin under your scope to find them. Wink Wink Wink

Carol, I got here late, but I have to go along with the rest. I believe it is DDR, but didn't know which class. The way the dots were pulled down, and the shape of the letters, seemingly to "sag toward the center.
Nice find. Maxie, take note! This is what Teri is lookng for. Laughing

I would call this one a strong to very strong class 6. There is also the possibility it could be a class 2 + 6. I might be seeing a little notch or separation line on the bottom of the E and L. A doubled die this strong would normally also show some extra thickness on the top of the letters of ONE and on the bottom of the letters of OF AMERICA.

Bob is apparently seeing what I was indicating when asking for a clear photo of the E and wheat tips. It does look like possibly class 2 as well but couldn't tell with the fuzziness in that area of the photo. In any case nice one. Very Happy

Possibly the 1935P-1DR-002. Nice thickness in the stems as well.
Feel sorry for you having to be drug around in the tube that way. Must have been miserable to be out on the water on such a warm day Wink
