Just saw this one, the sort of listing that lures the buyers to get it just to see if it's the big DDO for the year but the holder only says "Hub Doubling" probably something like the 1DO-002 listed on the site.

I agree. I hope the bidders are sending questions to the seller asking them for more specifics.

Those old PCI holders are something to be leary about.

MANY of them have completely false attributions on them. That was one of the many problems with PCI that JT Stanton tried to clean up when he became president of the company. ONLY the newer purplish holders are to be trusted for variety identification - these are the coins that someone recognized in the hobby personally inspected before they went into the holders.

I have seen MANY of the old holders say 'double die' or 'doubled die' when in fact the coin inside was nothing more than machine doubling.

My money would be on this coin being typical machine doubling, which is VERY common on 1969S cents.

Chuck, where would I post some "Four Queens Hotel" premium tokens? They are plastic, and dollar sized. I dion't know how long I have had them. It must be twenty yrears, at least. I found then in my Drywashing supplies, and repair equipment. Thanks,
Dick

You should post them in the 'other coins' category.

Thanks, Chuck, I wasn't sure, so I thought I'd ask. BTW, Happy Fathers Day!
