A nice repunched date on this 1894 IHC:
(I think it's Snow-1 Breen 2024)

Yep, that's a Snow-1 1894/1894...there's nothing else like it. Very Happy
Did you find that one unattributed? Nice!

Thanks Kurt,

Unattributed but the seller knew it had a RPD, maybe he doesn't care much for varieties.

Also got an 1887 DDO with it Smile
I'll post it too.

wow, thats a real scarce coin and probably the most sought after Indian Cent variety. Here is one, MS64 red. $10,000. The pic below shows repuncing right of the 8 and 1 also. I see that on yours some repunching right of the 8, lower loop, is still visible. Is the repunching right of the 1 also visible? Its a miracle that the repunched 9 and 4 is virtually undisturbed. Awesome coin!

Garry,

In hand I can see both extra loops on the 8 but the grime is enough to cover anything on the 1.

Those high grades are neat!

Rick Snow is the source for high-end IHC varieties. That particular coin appears to be an earlier die state and no doubt contributes to the value--very nice! Shocked
