Bob,
That's the only one I've found with a possible broken T. I don't have much of a list of the 41s (below) but I do like looking at them. I've pulled the 001 out a few times just to look at it. Most of these I just haven't been able to match up to a particular die yet but I'll get there I guess. As you can see by this list nearly all my coins are from circulation. Trying to by OBW rolls of wheats these days seems about as expensive as a tank of gas for my truck and thats just the 50s.

Steven,
Just about all of my 1941 doubled dies are circulated copies as well. I would prefer to buy a bag of wheaties and search for these than spend the same amount of money for a couple of uncirc rolls. You have a nice start on your 1941 doubled dies. I think you already found out there are plenty of class 6 (extra thickness type) doubled dies out there to go along with the unique ones. I believe all of the ones on the site for 1941 are from my personal collection, and as stated, there are plenty more to get on there over time. The extra thickness ones are difficult to attribute on circulated coins because markers are harder to find. I am sure that out of the 48 class DDRs I have, there are more than a few duplicates.
Keep looking...and keep having fun!

Hi Steven,
Out of all the cents in the 40's, is it the 1941 that has the most variety ?

Bruce,
It looks like 1941 may presently have the most doubled dies. There are coins in the 40's that have many RPMs. and those are considered vartieties as well.

I will be listing the full spectrum of 1941 'Full T over Broken T' dies that I have today. I think I have about 13 different dies, but I will have to go through them individually to make sure. They are all circulated copies, so I am not too sure about markers. They all very unique though, so there shouldn't be much of a problem if you are looking to attribute some of them. Be looking for them.

The project is complete! I added 18 new obverse 'Full T over Broken T' doubled dies with over 100 photographs to the site today. I have a few more that require a little more examination to ensure they are not duplicates. We now have 27 Doubled die obverses for 1941, and I have a few more doubled eyelids to add some time later when I can see again. This is a great year for searching folks. You can see them all here:

Bob, nice job! I notice they are all "P", but that's okay. The idea is to have them, no matter where from.
