Nice,
83 DDRs are hardly ever MS66!
Most are too poorly struck or the finish is not great.

yes and he says that there is alot of bubbling on the surface. I am surprised it is MS66 also.

The bubbling is common on the 1983 DDR cents and it is considered quite a catch of you can fine onew without it, so you would think the higher grades would be reserved for those.

Sure is and if you find an 83 DDR without the bubbles or spots the next problem that will keep the grade down is that most have a sort of incomplete reverse strike where the lettering on USA is almost missing in the center. That starts to keep them from the highest grades. Even the gem on the site is almost missing the lower ST of states.

Thats one I have always wanted. I have the '55 and '72 and a few '95's . I need to get one eventually before the prices get crazier.
