This is one of the better trail dies I've found lately. Also has some distortion on the T's of STATES and trails on "OF AMERICA". BJ how do you get the trails to show up so well in your pics?

Jeremy,
To photograph the trails better, it all has to do with turning the coin, and maybe putting it on a slight ramp of some sort so that the light source hits it at a better angle. Even if you end up taking the picture upside down, your photo editing software can be used to straighten it out.

Okay - Trails are one of the hardest anomaliers to capture. Even when you find the right angle from a light source, you end up getting hot spots all over the place.

I use a 60 watt incadescent lamp, right on top of the coin, shot through a tissue filter. I find the more light, the better and then I let my photo program take care of the rest (Abode 7).

Jeremy, dont give up on these guys. I have taken well over 8,000 photos of trails (the camera that was given to me in February has 3,945 on it and the other two cameras that I wore out before that had equal shots taken from them).

By the way, nice find and one that is not on the site.

I couldn't edit, so here id the rest of the info. 1995-P, one from the roll. Carol, I have found several other trails, 1995p-1DER-027-T. I assume they are from the same run.

Carol, IO am setting them aside, for the moment, just in case.
Cereal, Bran Flakes, siut me to a tee!
BJ, have you noticed that the trails are also accompanied with a very cracked head? I have a bunch of '07-P with a very cracked head, in fact, I don't know how much longer that die could, or did hold out, before shattering completely. If my theory pans out, I may come up with some more trails, if not, no time lost. I needed a break!
