Seems I can't find much lately, I'm guessing this is struck through grease and looks like 87D. Sorry nothing exciting and I'm bored.

I would say the press was recently serviced, judging from the left-over grease!. That is not the type worker I would appreciate having on the pay-roll. Too sloppy!

Aw, come on Daggit, you found some great stuff.
I mean, what's wrong with having a strange coin like that in a collection? Like I have said, you might have the only one like it.
Don't give up now!

Hi SDandra, I just wanted to tell you that, that cent dodn't get mixed in with the 12-S,, and Canadians. They arrived today, and I was expecting two, or maybe three coins, but over a roll came out! Thank you very much! Now what can I send you?
Going for an annual check-up, tomorrow, so I'll be out of touch for a few hours. However, like the common cold, you will never get rid of me!

Thank you, Sandra, I tried to copy one from CCF, but it didn't work. If you check there, it is the happy-4. that is the biggest smile I could find. Okay?

Sorry, folks...nothing to see here (until Sandra FINDS THAT COIN AGAIN!!!)
Now I'm curious and there's little way to satisfy that curiosity until I see the reverse of that coin!
I like this game! I'm good at it!

Chuck, I hope Sandra finds the coin again, but what I enjoy even more is you're apparently feeling much better! THAT is what I lke. One of the Can cents she sent has a slight MD on it. They have a premium "up North".

What rules out something like an 82, 83 or 85 where the 198 and top of something sort of flat horizontal on the top of the last digit shows other than that it looks like a flat top of the 7 is....
If your cent was from 1974 to 1985 the reverse would be the RDV-4 style with the longer top bar on the F of FG and the G is closer to the foundation below it.
Your coin has a top bar on F of FG that's not as long as RDV-4 and the lower part of the G is higher up from the foundation so it looks like the reverse is the RDV-5 style so the coin must be 1986-1988 and the only thing with a top of the last digit that is close to flat is 1987. So I think that means:
I think it's gotta be a 1987!!!!!!
Wait and see what Chuck says, he might have another way to tell
