This seller always has a nice selection of RPMs for sale. I have bought a few things from him once in a while. He has an interesting '29-S for sale and he is just throwing it out there. The two '29-S RPMs on this site are to the west. This has something going on to the east. Any thoughts? I'd like someone associated with the site to pick it up if it is a legit RPM.
Even if its me!

I think it might be abrasion.
Atleast the seller mentioned the possibility and gave a pic so the buyers can decide.

Yes this guy is one of my favorite dealers, Ed. Great photos, great inventory. He has thrown in an extra coin once in a while when I have bought something. Thanks for commenting.

Gerry, i was just looking thru this guty's stuff. There are quite a few nice RPM's there. The prices are okay too.
I probably will get some of the items to fill in a few holes! Wink

I've dealt with Scott many times before too. Never a bad deal with him. I am not convinced this coin has die abrasion. It is too uniform in appearance to be abrasion in my eyes. If no one jumps on this one between now and the time the auction ends, I just might pick it up to study anyway.

Bob, My "hand has been played out", for this month, so I'll not do any "sharp-shooting", today. Let us know how it turns out. The photo, does look convincing. I have some '55's with nearly the same mark on them. They are some of those Cathy sent.

Go for it Bob. We could use some pictures on the site if its a new one. He is offering two listed RPMs in addition to this one!
