Dick,
I don't know the details of your camera/SW. From what I recall TV screens are 512 lines of 512 pixels so the max resolution is about 1/4 MP which is much less than newer cameras.

Ed, not ot worry! I have a Canon Powershot A590, with 2GB of stick RAM, on its way. I'll have to learn to use it, and one day, maybe even post a good picture! I have your suggestions, and Ken's Picture of his setup, and maybe I will come up with something uiseful, too!

Dick,
Looked it up and it's 8MP and has 4X optical zoom, that should work.

Ed, I thouight you would, and thanks for confirming my thought, that it should work. I considered the optical X, more than anything else. I looked for the same as you, or Ken, have, the A640, or simiolar, but it is not listed, and I didn
't ant to check ebay. I'll let you klnow how it works out. The least I can say is that it is better than anything I presently own. It should be here in the next day, or two. I am working on PS, to seeif I can do some overlays. My triagulation method just isn't close enough, and I can't measure under the scope! I think the overlay rechnique is the only way to be close. Many times the markers are not there, for one reason, or another. Many of my coins are newer than the one on sight, and won't have the markers listed. OPf course, no one said it would be easy!
