Not tp be mean, but I cannot tell from the images provided. They have to be closer up and better focused.

I can tell you that if the D is doubled the same as the date, it's probably not an RPM. It's probably die wear.

Here's the entire coin Chuck.I really wanted to meet you before I left Fla.Worked to many hours and had 1/2 day notice before I left.Hopefully another time. The d is southeast with a small portion inside the d.Can also see the top serif inside the top of the 3.You may be able to see it better here.Would anacs grade a coin this high with die wear?I plan to get a laptop(with xp) to use with my qx3+ soon so I have good pics as I did before I got this new computer that has Dicks fav Vista on it Laughing Laughing .Didn't know it wasn't compatable when I bought it.Is there a way to adjust my scanner for better images for these closeups?I've tried 360,300,240,200 dpi for 500% up to 1000% and none of these settings do the job.I can go as low as 50 dpi on it.Anyone have any suggestions????? Sad Sad

Hi Ken,

You won't be meeting with me in Florida - I'm moving at the end of next week, going back home.

As for your coin, almost certainly die wear. It's still not close enough to see what needs to be seen, and even if you could get a scanner close enough, the lighting would be wrong to show the details. Scanners simply will not do the job.

Grading companies do not reject coins due to die wear. In some cases die wear can mildly affect the grade, but the only reason coins are altogether rejected is damage or cleaning.
