Ever since I found a 1906 2 Ore with a prominent "flag" on the 6 in the date, I have been studying these details for evidence of a known overdate, the 1906/5. Comparing this to another coin from Sweden, I'm now more certain this is the overdate.
In review of the pertinent details of this 1906 2 Ore, here is the complete date with areas of relief noted:
The "flag" is quite distinct and is partially at the same relief as the 6. The secondary feature below is lighter but quite distinct under certain lighting angles—more so than pic.
Tracing an approximate outline from a 1905 2 Ore and overlaying the date, I see a close correlation between the overlay and the details outside the 6:
Another view from my QX5--it's very useful to study a coin from several angles.
I think my analysis is further supported by this 1861/57 5 Ore, which shows similar details projecting from the 6:
So I now think I'm done (over)analyzing this one!

Kurt, just from a laymans point of view, you sure have pegged the over-date, to a "tee"! The one point you did not indicate, "theupper portion of the "5", is very prominite, insiode the upper part of the "6" loop' That is a nice analysis, and very nice photos, as well. My congratulations!

Dick, thanks...this caught my eye immediately at the show, but it took a while to reach a conclusion. When Krause lists a VF 1906/5 at $200, I don't want to get my hopes up!
I saw that top-stroke of the 5 inside the 6, which is absent on my 1906/5. Perhaps this is a case of the punch being angled slightly when impressing the date, so when the old digit is ground off the die, more of the digit was left on one side? I see something similar happen on FE and IHC rpds and overdates.
Here's something I just found. I don't usually buy off eBay, but I thought I'd chance it for all of $4. Compare to the pic above--interesting how the marks are stronger, perhaps an earlier die state? I'll post a better pic when it arrives.
It's too bad we don't see more overdates on modern US coins. Those few in the smaller denominations are pretty rare/expensive. I have yet to find one.

Kurt, you are right!@ I noticed the "61", as soon as I sdaw it. It has to be an overdate I went to 6X to get a better look, but it is too grainy to tell. It is interesting, tho'.
