Found a nice circulated specimen and took some 10x and 30x closeups of an area to the top of the 3 in date. Almost looks like a second curl to under the top of the 3. What are your thoughts Thanks!

If you examine all Cents from that year all mints, they all have that same doubling. That is called master die doubling. I have three BU coins that look like that, but they are all that way. When I found three BU Cents with the same doubling, then I knew it was common.

Yep, it's on both P and D.

So, the old CONECA 1932D 1-O-lll has been debunked?
Or am I missing something?

This is from Wexlers book THE LINCOLN CENT DOUBLED DIE 1984.

After looking at examples from that year, they are all that way.

Jay,

I have the same old book, it's still useful.
On this one it must have been on the masters and they all had it.

It's listed by Coneca but as a master DDO on both P and D:

It was changed by CONECA to Master Die doubling a few years after the Wexler book was published.
