Someone said they were going thru a bag, or bags of cents. I understand they were from Littleton's coins. If this is correct, would you repeat the info, please?
Thanks,
Dick

Hi Dick,That was me.I bought 10 bags about 6 or 7 years ago when they were $169 or $189 a bag.Got 4 bags of just "S" minted coins in the lot.Much more than that now from them. They did have a great mix of dates though. When I checked them then I guess you could say I basicly knew nothing about error wheats. Now I have to go through them again Laughing Laughing Laughing

Ken, thanks for the info. Yes I imagine they are quite a bit higher, now. And will keep going up. I had a chance to go thru 30,000 wheats, last year,, and the 30's had been pulled, and they only had the wellpknown dates, NO key's, etc. The teens, (very few, but samt as the thirty's. The 20's bare bones. There were three bags of "D", and One bag of "S". Several packages of three boxes of cents. Some from back East, with a lot of "P". I sorted them out, and made bags of them. the only thing there were quite a few RPM's, but I was only checkimng for varieties. The owner said those I could have. Along withe the batch, was a small box with 22 rolls of 1960d, and a few other misc. All varieties, these also were given for the sorting, and searching for DDOP/DDR. I didn't fing any, even with the scope. All had been advertised as "unsearched" You can bet they were. And I know of a bridge for sale, too, in case someone is interested! Later the same owner came and picked up the batch, and left about33 rolls, and plastic tubes, (16 of these), . They were all 1962-D,mand had to be cut out of the tubes! Not a single cent was loose. I don't know what kind od liquid was used, but it pitted every one of the coins. They looked like BU, except for the pits. The rest of tha group were nothing but varieties, some known, and others unknown. I posted a few, but there were none on sight to compare with, so they are "stashed", for the time being. Several rolls of 1960-D. I have yet to search thoroughly thru them, yet. A very long "Honey-do" list!
