Here is a Spanish 2'50 Pesetas with a nice die crack that runs across the reverse from about 8:00 to 3:00.

Nice rim-to-rim crack! It wouldn't be long before the die split in half.

The splitting would make it a couple of 1.25 peseta pieces, right? Spain refuses to give up the old reales/escudos system.

The obverse. Color is slightly off....new bulb in the lamp. No rainbow toning on the obverse.
