Thanks Garry! The animation is just taking the overlay concept one step further by creating a series of successive layers of varying transparency, using Adobe Imageready. A simple overlay often muddles two coins into one (often) incomprehensible picture, so this helps me.

Wow! That will open some eyes! I agree the "9" is nearly fixed, and very likely, the only changes are polish lines. It IS a large over small, and the small now does not seem to be rotated, more likely again, "polish lines.
NOW! How did you do that animation???? That is KOOL!

I agree! That is what I dislike about my overlays, too muddled, and it confuseds the eye, as to what it is viewing. Is Adobe imageready a part of the soaftware you use, or is it a separate softwate?

Thanks Dick!
This was done in Adobe ImageReady, a program that comes with Photoshop. One of the great features of this program is that you can create animated gif files. It's a little complicated to discuss briefly--I'll make a tutorial sometime.

Hi Kurt, I take it that I may have that software, in PS 7.0. I just checked, yes, it is image ready 7.0. Looks like I may have some work, ahead ! BTW, I think you have gotten about as much as we have here, but it is raining like a "cow, pissing on a flat rock", as my dad used to say. Looking at the radar, you get hit, and then I get hit. 39 here. We have had thunder, and lightning. I feel like a kid, again! Tornado warning cancelled. Back to the search, again. I got a roll of cents from the cashier at the casino, so the search begins.....

Dick, great to hear you have Imageready...maybe we'll see more overlay animations in the future?
Yes--like night we had very heavy rain, wind, and lighting. A new storm is just moving in, and Wednesday is suppose to be heavier still. Stay safe and dry!
