As far as I know, the first ever 1913S RPM, and this one is on a mint state coin!! Thanks to Mozeppa for submitting this one, it's going to go into an ANACS holder as the site plate coin.

That is one fantastic find. Wouldn't a "DISCOVERY PIECE" label be a better fit for this coin if it is to be slabbed?

CONGRATULATIONS to Mozeppa.

Im very exited about this discovery. It is amazing that after so many years, this variety had never been reported. Congrats Mozeppa!!

Chuck- now that you mention it, How do I get one of my coins slabbed with ANACS with this listing system?

Wavysteps - I cannot guarantee to anyone that this is the "discovery" coin. I can guarantee that it's the plate coin. I'm not big on calling anything a "discovery" coin.

Gabe - All you have to do is either send them through me or request it on the submission form. The only trick is that the die has to already be listed on coppercoins with marker photos.

Very very cool! I can't emphasize enough that there are plenty of new varieties to be found....even on very old coins. It is a beauty!

Congrats on a great find. Not only is it an exciting discovery, but it is a really nice example of a great discovery. Way to go.
