$25 box of coins and all I got...

was a mangled doubled die....a rare one, and a nice one - but mangled. The only reason I'm using this for the site is to have you folks check your coins and send a better one in for photos.

Well, I guess I could add that I found a few minor modern DDRs and a short pile of wheats - about a dozen altogether...but NOTHING else.

This was a box that had been wrapped in Maine in 2000. I have about 5 rolls left out of the 50 I started with two days ago. This one single nice DDO is about all I have to show for the effort.

Hey people....don't whine when you go through $10 of coins and don't find anything rare. I've been through over $100 worth in the last two weeks, and this is the only "exciting" find I have to report. Too bad someone had to mangle the coin for me before I got it. It's otherwise a nice die state and an AU coin.
