I came across this coin while searching today. The 9 in 19 looks really fat. Could this be a ddo?

It looks like only the 9 is impacted which struck me as a reason why it might not be a ddo.

The 9 sure does look fat. I can't see just that 1 number being doubled? The other numbers look too normal for it to be a doubled die.
edited for spelling

Looking at the mintmark it looks like it may of taken a breating. Wish it was an uncirculated example, then we would know. Is there a Doubled Eyelid?

I checked for a double eyelid and did not see one. I will take some more pictures after work today and show some other parts of the coin.

I would need to see LIBERTY to tell for sure. In almost all cases a class 6 doubled die with thickness in the 9 of the date would also have convex outer edges in LIBERTY.

That the remainder of the date has normal thickness doesn't necessarily mean it's not a doubled die.

Thanks for all the feedback. I took a few more pictures including Liberty and close ups of the R T and Y and posted them on a Verizon site. Here is the link.
