A coin brought to my attention on Ebay is a coin I wish I could buy for a regular coin is this one. A 1865/865 3 Cent. Gonna watch for this one when I get to a show.

I'm sure others would like to add to this list, so give all a heads up for coins like these.

Very nice RPD on that coin. I always check the 3 cent, 2cent and other type denominations for RPD and other varieties. I have had some luck, and move even tripled what I paid for the coin, after I sold it with the variety on ebay.

Awesome RPD. you would think a dealer would see that right away if he just glanced at the coin. Unless he didn't care. Mint state 3 cent nickels are really nice looking coins, the proofs are too. Way underrated.

There are actually a large number of nice RPDs in all the series already mentioned here. Additionally, there are a number of nice RPDs in the shield nickel series and in the Indian head cents.

Chuck is absolutely right. There are some beautiful repunched dates in early coinage. Here are a couple I have....an 1865 two cent piece, and an 1891 Indian Head Cent. Very nice coins, and repunched dates. You can also see a stuck through thread on the Indian Head Cent.

It is indeed a nice RPD Gabe. I have seen them go for some pretty good bucks, even in less than ideal condition. Best of luck on your auction Exclamation

There is a nice 2 cent piece at my bid board. I will have to check the date.
