It's unfortunate that Bill McKivor of the TheCopperCorner does not post images of his inventory. Heaven forbid I had overlooked this one tucked away in his latest fixed price list.

SWEET COIN Exclamation

Welcome aboard RWYARMCH. That is a beautiful coin. I don't which side I like the best. Both are beauties, probably the price would knock my socks off.............. Exclamation

Prices for Conder tokens have certainly risen over the last 10 years but many designs are still available in Unc for around $100. A piece like the Robert Orchard halfpenny might bring twice that.

I thought the mark on the O on ROBERT and the AR on ORCHARD and the mark under the jaw looked interesting. If there were more examples to be seen, you might see if it is die doubling/clash under jaw. Very interesting coin.

My hi resolution version suggests recutting on the letters you mentioned and other letters and stars as well. The chin is a mystery to me. The token was produced with a coin alignment and I don't see much in the center of the reverse that would produce the curve. I'll have to find some others!

If you like cracks and clashes and cuds, this one might appeal. I had some fun flipping and overlaying the obverse and reverse to fit the clashing on each side.

Another very nice coin. Great condition. Looks like a lot going on it. Tiny cud, die crack, clashed dies. Still a very nice looking coin.

I try to keep the image sizes in the 400-700 pixel range. The reason being, that you don't have to use the bottom scrol to read the messages as a larger image will widen the whole screen.
