Overlays and teaching aids.

OK got it ... same as working with mspaint, save the scrap "copy part of" the selected picture as a .jpg.

I did this by selecting the marguee (top left) on tool bar (left side) and selecting an area ... then going to edit and save as: .jpg. (for those of you that didn't know)
