just bought a 1961 proof unopened mint set

The Mint Has NEVER sealed mint sets or the earlier proof sets ( the cellophane pack) and yes you are correct there is no such animal as a unopened mint set. how can they be unopened if they was never closed?
this set you did ok on 320048256281. but on your 220050720191 you paid close to 3X it's worth but at least 40% of the time you are going to overpay on ebay. you would do better to find a friend that is closer to a B&M shop and get that 61 for $11.00. but don't feel bad your not the first and far from the last to get it on ebay. sorry to be so blunt. and please don't take it wrong it is meant in a teaching form not as a knockdown.
