So what it sounds like to me is that the government has to devalue the dollar to make the USA more solvent in everyday matters.
Or come up with a new moneytary system to reflect such.

To me, we need to pay off our debts to other foriegn(?) countries so that we are not legally indebted to them, or they (other nations) could forgive our loans as we have to a many a nation.

Agreed--and I don't think many countries have enough foundation to support the volumes of credit going on, hence the sticky problem we're in. Seems we'll need to completely change our attitude towards money if we're going to stabilize--or just find another scheme, lol. Laughing
