Today I went through one roll of new 2005P cents from a full box and found three different kinds of these extra column cents just from that one roll. Has anyone found this one? The one in the photo I have found several of, and am confident that I have identified one die marker for that variety. The other two varieties, I have only found one each of them, so I won't photo them now. I apologize for the poor photo quality. Was in a hurry to crack open another roll to see what goodies I can find in it.
I simply cannot believe all these 2005P varieties that I have found in the past few months looking thru new cents. I've found a nice obverse die clash...a nice reverse die clash...a major wavy step...a possible doubled ear Lincoln or DDO under-ear...a wavy LIBERTY...and now an extra column cent. That's possibly 2-DDO's, 2-DDR's and 2-die clashes. Not to mention several varieties of minor wavy steps and two very minor doubled die reverses.(one DDR is finely doubled atop bays 2-7 and other is finely doubled in S & U of E-Pluribus Unum and also some very fine doubling in motto.) Also found an examply where the U in UNUM shows strong doubling only at the bottom of the U. I suspect machine doubling, but don't really know.

Opened 5 more rolls and have now separated 5 different kinds of these "extra column" cents for 2005P, three to the right side of Lincoln and two to the left. After I go through the entire box I will send samples to Chuck or Bob and hopefully the coins'll make it through attribution.

Sounds like you've hit a good pile! Just make sure the "column pieces" doubled dies show an extension the size of the leg or show additional doubling in the statue.

Very nice finds. I have been keeping an eye of for those extra columns, and have found a couple. Just need to organize them, and get them ready for attribution.
